Fuzzy Descriptions Logics with Fuzzy Truth Values

چکیده
Fuzzy Description Logics are a family of logics which allow to deal with structured knowledge affected by vagueness. Although a relatively important amount of work has been carried out in the last years, current fuzzy DLs are open to be extend with several features worked out in the fuzzy logic literature. In this work, we extend fuzzy DLs with fuzzy truth values, allowing to state sentences such as “Tina is young is almost true”. Keywords— Fuzzy Description Logics, Fuzzy Truth Values

Truth Values and Connectives in Some Non-Classical Logics
The question as to whether the propositional logic of Heyting, which was a formalization of Brouwer's intuitionistic logic, is finitely many valued or not, was open for a while (the question was asked by Hahn). Kurt Gödel (1932) introduced an infinite decreasing chain of intermediate logics, which are known nowadays as Gödel logics, for showing that the intuitionistic logic is not finitely (man...
متن کاملEQ-logics with delta connective
In this paper we continue development of formal theory of a special class offuzzy logics, called EQ-logics. Unlike fuzzy logics being extensions of theMTL-logic in which the basic connective is implication, the basic connective inEQ-logics is equivalence. Therefore, a new algebra of truth values calledEQ-algebra was developed. This is a lower semilattice with top element endowed with two binary...
متن کاملInterval-Valued Algebras and Fuzzy Logics
In this chapter, we present a propositional calculus for several intervalvalued fuzzy logics, i.e., logics having intervals as truth values. More precisely, the truth values are preferably subintervals of the unit interval. The idea behind it is that such an interval can model imprecise information. To compute the truth values of ‘p implies q’ and ‘p and q’, given the truth values of p and q, w...
متن کاملTriangular norm based predicate fuzzy logics
5 The paper surveys the present state of knowledge on t-norm based predicate fuzzy logics with their double semantics: standard (the set of truth values being the real interval [0,1]) and general with abstract algebras of truth functions. 7 © 2009 Published by Elsevier B.V.
متن کاملFuzzy Logics Interpreted as Logics of Resources
Girard’s linear logic (1987) is often interpreted as the logic of resources, while formal fuzzy logics (see esp. Hájek, 1998) are usually understood as logics of partial truth. I will argue that deductive fuzzy logics can be interpreted in terms of resources as well, and that under most circumstances they actually capture resource-aware reasoning more accurately than linear logic. The resource-...
